I’m such a lover of Revolution and after seeing they had a spring sale, I decided to try one of their foundations. I bought the Revolution Pro Foundation Drops in the shade F2 (which is described as fair with yellow undertones).
So before I even talk about the finish and wear of the foundation, I’ve got to address the packaging. As you can see, this is a pipette application foundation. I think the idea of this is quite cool; but the reality is the foundation is really liquidy (not a word I know) and is quite messy to use. You’ve got to move quite quick in getting the foundation onto you face/sponge before it drips everywhere.
The foundation is very easy to blend and is very light weight. It feels very breathable and I think it would be great in summer. I’d say the coverage is medium but definitely buildable. This foundation is perfect for hiding your pores and gives a slight dewy finish.
This foundation is perfect for everyday use. I think it wears well, with one powder half way through the day. The only down sides to this foundation is that as the day wore one, it did start to cling to my dry patches and I don’t think it looked amazing on the fine lines under my eyes.
For £7 I think it’s a good foundation. Overall, I would recommend this foundation so long as you don’t tend to get dry skin patches. The shade range is really good and you can pair it with the Revolution Conceal & Define concealer. Revolution is cruelty free.
